Proposal for Pathway at The Park, School Road

Frampton Cotterell Parish Council has been awarded Section 106 Funding by South Gloucestershire Council in relation to the development of the Blackberry Park Estate. This funding has been awarded for the purpose of improving courts-based facilities at The Park, School Road.

A condition of this funding is the installation of a fully accessible pathway which links park entranceways to courts facilities at The Park.

We believe that this pathway will improve the experience of all park users and help to make our facilities more accessible and inclusive for everyone.

Our Proposed Pathway

To this end, the parish council has put together a proposal for where we think this pathway should go.

We have marked our proposed pathway with a yellow line on the 1:2500 scale map of The Park, School Road, Frampton Cotterell, below.

This proposed path would follow the route:

  •  Court Road entrance;
  • Skate Park / Basketball Courts;
  • Tennis Courts;
  • Park Row entrance.

Text above the image reads, Frampton Cotterell Parish Council's proposed pathway route at The Park, School Road. This pathway would link all courts-based sports facilities at The Park, and connect them to all main entranceways. This proposal is intended to improve accessibility and safety at The Park.
