Activator Volunteers
Barclays Free Park Tennis Scheme
You could be a part of helping more people play and enjoy tennis for free at your local park courts.
Free Park Tennis is a new programme which gives more people the chance to play tennis, offering fun, social tennis sessions at a local park tennis courts.
Sessions are free for all ages and abilities, and run for one hour every week. Sessions are led by trained volunteers – also known as Free Park Tennis Activators!
We Need Volunteers!
Help make a positive impact in your local community through the power of tennis!
Frampton Cotterell Parish Council is looking for volunteers to help run free group tennis sessions on Saturday and Sunday mornings between 10am to 11am.
Volunteering in sport is more than just giving back; it’s a chance to connect with your community and make a real difference to people’s lives. Help your fellow villagers meet new people, improve their mental and physical wellbeing, and (re)discover their love for sport!
Over 25,000 people choose to volunteer in tennis across Britain at all levels. Could you be one of them?
Free Park Tennis Activators work together as a team to organise and run sessions for their community. Tennis Activators will be provided with the training, equipment and kit needed to get started. Volunteers will also receive free online training, a hoodie, and ongoing online support.
Visit the Lawn Tennis Association Volunteers page for more information and details of how to sign up.
