Local Nature Art Exhibition
From October 26th to November 2nd, 2023, Frampton Cotterell Parish Council was proud to host our first Local Nature Art Exhibition at the Brockeridge Centre.
This exhibition showcased a wonderful selection of artwork created by local people of all ages and across a variety of media.
We had lots of visitors, and received many positive comments from people who had thoroughly enjoyed the exhibition, remarking on what talented artists we have in the village. We couldn’t agree more! The artwork was absolutely beautiful, we couldn’t have been prouder of our brilliant and creative parishioners.
We would like to thank all of the artists who submitted their work to be showcased in this exhibition. Thank you all!
Have a look at some photos of the beautiful pieces of art we displayed during the exhibition in our Gallery, below.

Art Competition Winners
During this exhibition, we also offered our artists the opportunity to enter their work in our Art Competition!
It was an almost impossible task for the judges (a panel of parish councillors) to to pick the winners, as every piece was fantastic in a different way.
However, after much deliberation the judges came to their decisions…
Over 16s Winners
- Alan Lang: Metal Garden Tool Sculptures
- Jamie Constable: Photographs of Roe deer, Wild Welsh Ponies, and Avocet
- Christine Porter: Wood Carvings of Leaves, Leopard, and Vases
Under 16s Winners
- Seb: Fantastic Mr Fox, and Spring Magnolia
- Archie: Raging, Hedgehog, and Robin
- Martha: Leaf sprites
All of our competition winners each received a £30 voucher for the RSPB online shop.
All of the Under 16s artists who showcased their work in our exhibition will also be receiving a Young Artists of Frampton Cotterell certificate for taking part.
Well done, everyone!
