South Gloucestershire Council’s New Local Plan: Our Response

Frampton Cotterell Parish Council have issued an official response to Phase 2 of South Gloucestershire Council’s New Local Plan.

This New Local Plan contains proposals which could directly impact upon Frampton Cotterell and our neighbours, covering areas such as development, housing, transport, and the environment.

We are therefore encouraging our parishioners to read through the response document put forward by the Parish Councillors. Our response has been directly informed by feedback given by the parish in our recent Resident’s Survey, and is intended to represent the views of the parish.

By reading this response document, you will be able to better understand how the proposals put forward by South Gloucestershire Council may directly impact the character, landscape, environment, and culture of our village.

We also encourage you to complete the feedback survey issued by South Gloucestershire Council.
This survey will allow you to tell South Gloucestershire Council what you do and do not approve of in their proposed New Local Plan. This feedback will help inform South Gloucestershire Council and their policies moving forward; policies which will have an impact on you and your village, including potential developments which you and your community may find unacceptable.

The feedback survey will remain open until Monday the 4th of April 2022. Please make sure you get your voice heard, and help shape the future of our community.
