Park Pitch Improvements – Update

The pitch improvements at The Park are coming along nicely and the grass is getting stronger each day. To protect the grass from damage, the fencing has remained in place. Part of the fencing will be coming down in late spring/early summer to allow the cricket club to play on their pitch and users of the park to have more space. Fencing around the rugby pitch will stay in place until the autumn (September/October). The rugby pitch was fully resurfaced and the grass is more tender here, therefore the fencing must stay in place for longer to allow the grass to flourish.
