(Various Roads, Various Wards – Microasphalt Programme) (Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles, Foot Passengers, Pedal Cycles and Equestrians) (Temporary Suspension of One Way Traffic) Order 2025.

Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intends to make an order the effect of which will be to:-
a) close, temporarily, to vehicles, foot passengers, pedal cycles and equestrians the lengths of road specified in Schedule 1 to this notice; and
b) suspend, temporarily, when the signs are covered, the one way traffic working, to any vehicle proceeding in the length of road specified in Schedule 2 to this notice between the dates and times specified in column 2 and 3 of the said Schedule, to facilitate the diversion route.

This order is required for the following reason: in connection with the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon microasphalt works. The order will be operative from 30 June 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The restrictions however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works. It is anticipated that the works at each location will be carried out between the dates specified in schedule 1.
