Thanking Local Heroes

Frampton Cotterell Parish Council is proud to present our annual Community Awards to local groups and individuals, as nominated by the parish, who have made outstanding contributions to our community over the preceding 12 months.

We consider it an honour to lead the village in publicly recognising these achievements of our local heroes who voluntarily and selflessly work to improve and enhance the lives of local people, and to thank them for their efforts.

Nominations

We need your help. By nominating your local heroes, you shine a light on those deserving of recognition and thanks.

To nominate an individual or group for an award, please read the Parish Council Community Awards Criteria 2025 and then complete a nomination form.

Please complete one nomination form per individual or group. If you wish to make multiple nominations, please complete and submit one form for each individual / group.

Before submitting your nomination, please ask the permission of the individual or group you would like to nominate. For various reasons, some people may prefer not to receive recognition for their community work, and the parish council respects these preferences. Additionally, as we require the name and contact details for nominees, it is vital that their permission is obtained before this information is provided. Therefore, we require that consent is obtained by all nominees before their nominations are submitted.

Nominations for the 2025 Awards

Nominations for the 2025 awards will be open from January 1st to March 31st, 2025.

Award Selection

Members of the parish council will choose up to six winners from the year’s nominees.

Award winners will receive a personalised certificate as well as a prize.
