Help Hedgehogs Hibernate! Family Nature Craft Event

Help Hedgehogs Hibernate! Half-Term Family Event with the Hedgehog Heroes Here.

Time: 10AM – 12PM.
Location: The Brockeridge Centre, Woodend Road, Frampton Cotterell, BS36 2LQ.


On Saturday the 18th of October, you’re invited to join Frampton Cotterell Parish Council and the Hedgehog Heroes Here for our half-term Help Hedgehogs Hibernate event.

Come along to The Brockeridge Centre (BS36 2LQ) from 10AM – 12PM for a morning of nature crafts, hedgehog box building, and our always popular Hedgehog Cake Bake Off – fun for all the family! At this event we will also be raising money for our chosen 2025 Climate & Nature charity, Yate Hedgehog Rescue.

This event is free and everyone is welcome! Please be aware that there is limited availability for certain activities such as Hedgehog Box Building and places will be given on a first-come first-served basis.

Make bird feeders... and more! Hedgehog Cake Bake Off

If you would like to enter our Hedgehog Cake baking competition, simply bring along your hedgehog-themed cake to the event. The winning cake will receive a prize!

You can take your cake home with you after, or donate it for sale during the event to help raise money for Yate Hedgehog Rescue. If you would like to donate your cake, please bring a list of your ingredients so people can check for allergens and other dietary requirements. Thank you!
