Crucial Tree-Thinning Work at Centenary Field

This week, we have been undertaking vital tree-thinning works at Centenary Field.

Tree-felling is crucial for maintaining environmental health; we have targeted trees suffering from Ash Dieback disease, and trees which are overcrowded and causing stunted woodland growth.

Not only will felling the trees help improve the health of the area, but we will stack some of the felled wood in piles for creatures and insects to use as habitats!

For more information on Ash Dieback Disease and the damage it is causing across the country, take a look at this article on Ash Dieback from The Woodland Trust.
