Frampton Cotterell’s popular Scarecrow Trail takes place every autumn. This popular community event invites all local people to get involved by creating a scarecrow or window display.
All the scarecrows and displays are then marked on our Trail Map for people to follow! During the trail week, you can vote for your favourite scarecrow – with prizes for 1st and 2nd place!
Each year, the Scarecrow Trail has a different theme, voted for by the parish. Past scarecrow themes have included “Sport With A Ball“, “Save Our Planet“, “Book Characters” and “Fairytales”.

Everyone is welcome to sign up to take part in the Frampton Cotterell Scarecrow Trail. Make a mini scarecrow, a full-sized scarecrow, or create a display in your window – whatever your creation, we’d love for you to join in!
The 2025 Scarecrow Trail Sign Up forms will be open until Friday the 10th of October. Please make sure to submit your entry by this deadline.

Public Vote 2025
As always, this year’s scarecrows and window displays will be up for public vote. The two displays with the highest number of votes will win a prize!
Voting for most popular scarecrow / display will be open for the duration of the trail week.
Winners will be announced on Saturday 1st of November during the Floral Friends of Frampton’s Autumn Fayre event at The Brockeridge Centre.
