Court Rules and Terms of Use

Tennis Court Rules

Players must read, understand and abide by the following Court Rules:

  • Players must comply with the principles of respect and fair play.
  • Members should wear appropriate clothing and footwear when on court.
  • No ball games other than tennis are to be played on the tennis courts.
  • No playing of music is allowed at the tennis courts.
  • Smoking is not permitted within the court boundaries.
  • Users must leave the tennis courts as they found it. Do not leave any personal items, litter, or any items on the tennis courts.
  • The tennis courts are used at your own risk. Users must consider their own safety and the safety of others at all times.
  • Users may only enter the court using their own unique booking code. Users must not enter the court without entering the booking code for their session.
  • Do not let anyone other than the person/s you are playing with during your session follow you through the gate. Individuals must access the courts using their own unique booking code.
  • Users must ensure that the court gate is closed securely behind them upon leaving.
  • No person may coach others for financial gain on these tennis courts without prior approval of Frampton Cotterell Parish Council.

Frampton Cotterell Parish Council staff members reserve the right to request that users leave the facility if any of these rules are breached.

Tennis Court Booking Rules

  • You must book a court session online before you can play. Access to the tennis courts is not permitted without a booking.
  • Sessions can be booked up to 10 days in advance.
  • All users are advised to bring their booking confirmation email to their play session. This will help to avoid or resolve any confusion over bookings, including with other patrons.
  • Frampton Cotterell Parish Council has the right to cancel bookings at its discretion. In the event of a booking being cancelled, an email will be sent to the court users notifying them in advance.
  • Frampton Cotterell Parish Council reserves the right to pre-book the courts for coaching and special events at its discretion.
  • Frampton Cotterell Parish Council reserves the right to close the courts at its discretion. In the event of closures, notice will be given in advance where possible.
  • In the event of bad weather/adverse playing conditions, you must cancel your booking at least 24 hours before your scheduled booking.
  • If you no longer require your booked session, please cancel your booking as soon as possible (minimum 24 hours notice) so that other users may book the slot.
  • Unwanted bookings must be cancelled online before the scheduled booking.
  • Cancellations requested later than 24-hours before the scheduled booking may not receive a refund.
  • Please note that the parish council will be charged a transaction fee for your booking even if you cancel and receive a full refund. Please be mindful with your bookings and cancellations, as cancelled bookings will result in a charge to the council and paid out of our budget.

 Right to Play

  • You must book a court online before playing. Please bring booking conformation with you.
  • If there are any problems, please contact Frampton Cotterell Parish Council via email at tennis@framptoncotterell-pc.gov.uk or via our ClubSpark contact form.
  • In the event of  any dispute over session bookings, the person whose name appears on the booking sheet will take precedence.
  • Staff from Frampton Cotterell Parish Council reserve the right to ask any person they feel is misusing or behaving in an anti-social manner to leave the tennis counts at The Park.
  • Refunds for sessions not accessed due to technical issues will be issued be at the council’s discretion. Proof will be required that the courts were inaccessible at the time of the booking.

Pay & Play with ClubSpark

  • Sessions must be booked online via ClubSpark.
  • The first time you use the Pay & Play system you will need to register for an account. For subsequent bookings, you will be able to log in go directly to the Pay & Play bookings tab.
  • Payment for Pay & Play is completed online. This allows customers to manage the booking process themselves.
  • Please note there may be a short minute delay between the booking being processed and receipt of your confirmation email.
  • You can also make bookings via the free ClubSpark app for iOS and for Android.

PIN Code System

Upon booking your session, you will be issued a unique PIN code for your booking. This PIN code will be unique to your booked hour of play.

Your PIN code will be emailed to you along with your booking confirmation details.

This PIN code will be required for access to the courts via our secure gate. Without this PIN code you will not be able to enter the tennis courts.

You must book a court online before you play.

Unwanted bookings must be cancelled online before the scheduled session.

Pricing for Tennis Sessions

  • 60-minute session – £5
  • 120-minute session – £10

Prices are based on the booking of one court.

Each user may book a maximum of five 60-minute sessions per seven days. Each user may book a maximum of two 120-minute sessions back to back per day.

The minimum booking length is 60 minutes.
