Tea For Heroes. Our event, Saturday May 14th, 2022.

Tea for Heroes Event

Throughout April, Frampton Cotterell Parish Council asked our parishioners to nominate their heroes of the pandemic – people who went above and beyond to support our community during the difficult past few years. On Saturday May 14th, Frampton Cotterell Parish Council hosted these brilliant local folks at a Pandemic Heroes Cream Tea!

Everyone was welcomed, and at our event were able to tuck into a selection of sandwiches, cakes, freshly baked scones (kindly baked by Cllr Pennell), and plenty of tea and coffee!

The Parish Council are very grateful for everyone who helped and supported others during the last two years. Our Pandemic Heroes helped in a wide variety of ways, from helping to keep local groups running, and carrying out errands for friends and neighbours, to manufacturing and delivering free face visors, and keeping the village floral displays looking beautiful – not to mention all our wonderful NHS staff and carers, and more.

So thank you, again, to our wonderful Pandemic Heroes. You are all fantastic!
