Pink Elephants in Frampton

Local resident, Phil Handy, has photographed a beautiful pink elephant hawk moth. Phil said:

“In autumn they start to look for somewhere to pupate and we found one wandering across the lawn in search of a suitable location. In May we were rewarded by the discovery of a newly emerged moth crawling out of the leaf litter and ready to take wing.”

Amazing photos, thank you for sharing. If you have any of your own nature shots, please email them to Daisy on projectofficer@framptoncotterell-pc.gov.uk
