South Gloucestershire Council have released a statement letter to say that from the 15th of August 2022, Yate Road, Iron Acton, will be subject to major resurfacing works. These works will be carried out under a road closure between the hours of 8pm and 6am on Monday – Friday nights, not Saturdays or Sundays, or on the August Bank Holiday Monday (29th).
Further, on Friday the 26th of August, Network Rail will be carrying out works on the Bristol Road, also under a road closure. On the one night when both sets of work will be underway, the traffic diversion route will be slightly different.
