The Dental Recycling Scheme which the parish council has facilitated at the Brockeridge Centre since July 2023, will be coming to an end on 31st March, 2025.
This recycling scheme has been a great success, providing residents with a conveniently local place to recycle their old toothbrushes, toothpaste tubes, empty floss packets and other used dental products.
Although our recycling point at the Brockeridge Centre will be closing, other dental recycling points are available at all Boots stores.
As one recycling scheme closes, another opens…
As part of our goal for a Plastic Free Frampton Cotterell, the parish council is currently looking into setting up a new recycling scheme for the Brockeridge Centre. We have been investigating our options and are now considering a Medicine Blister Pack recycling point.
What do you think – would you find a local medicine blister pack recycling point useful? Do you have other suggestions?

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Surfers Against Sewage who work with us on Plastic Free Frampton.
We would also like to thank our wonderful volunteer, Sarah, for her work managing local recycling projects.
Finally, a big thank you everyone in Frampton Cotterell and the surrounding areas for your continued enthusiasm for making Frampton Cotterell Plastic Free and your involvement in recycling projects and other local Climate & Nature initiatives.
