Scarecrow Trail

Scarecrow Trail

Scarecrow Trail, Half Term. Autumnal leaves border top and bottom, Save the Planet logo, cartoon scarecrow, lightbulb, and a circular graphic which reads, "REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE"

Join in with Frampton Cotterell’s 2021 Scarecrow Trail!

The theme this year is “Save the Planet”. Think climate change, helping nature, refuse/reuse/recycle and more – this is your time to get creative.

Pick up your map from The Brockeridge Centre, or download the Scarecrow Trail Map and Voting Form

Please note: there are two scarecrows that were unfortunately missed from our map!  Please look out for ‘Gertrude the Green Lady’ outside the entrance to St Saviours Church on Beesmoor Road, and ‘Rubbish Peacock’ on Rectory Road.

For those of you who have made scarecrows, we would love it if you could keep your scarecrows up this Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st of October, instead of taking them down on Friday the 29th! This way, people who were unable to follow the trail during the week will still have a chance to see your wonderful creations over the weekend.

Votes for the best Scarecrow will be by public vote and announced on Tuesday 9th November 2021. Prizes for 1st and 2nd place. Please return your completed paper forms to the post box in the Brockeridge Centre, Woodend Road. Voting will close on Monday the 8th of November, so get your votes in before then!

If you would like your scarecrow to be part of a group display, please bring your scarecrow to The Brockeridge Centre any time during opening hours (Monday to Friday, 9am to 2pm) between Monday the 1st and Monday the 8th of November!
