Frampton Cotterell BIOBLITZ 2023 – Discover Local Nature

On Saturday the 29th of April 2023, Frampton Cotterell Parish Council, in collaboration with Frampton Cotterell Nature , will be hosting the 2nd annual BIOBLITZ event at Centenary field, as part of the the international Bioblitz Day!

Free events and activities planned for the day include:

  • 5am Dawn Chorus Walk
  • 9am–10am Bird Walk
  • 10am-1 1am Tree Walk
  • 11am-12pm Butterfly Walk
  • 12pm-12:30pm iNaturalist Nature Recording Workshop with British Sign Language Provisions
  • 12:45pm-2pm Bat Detector Workshop with BSL and Braille provisions
  • 2pm-3pm Wildflower Walk
  • 3:30pm-4:30pm Bug Hunt
  • 8pm-9:30pm Bat Walk with audio and visual detectors
  • Activities & Stalls from 12pm–4pm including:
    • Building footprint tunnels
    • Making seed bombs
    • Den building
    • Local stalls, book sales, plant sales
  • …and more!
