On Saturday the 29th of April 2023, Frampton Cotterell Parish Council, in collaboration with Frampton Cotterell Nature , will be hosting the 2nd annual BIOBLITZ event at Centenary field, as part of the the international Bioblitz Day!
Free events and activities planned for the day include:
- 5am Dawn Chorus Walk
- 9am–10am Bird Walk
- 10am-1 1am Tree Walk
- 11am-12pm Butterfly Walk
- 12pm-12:30pm iNaturalist Nature Recording Workshop with British Sign Language Provisions
- 12:45pm-2pm Bat Detector Workshop with BSL and Braille provisions
- 2pm-3pm Wildflower Walk
- 3:30pm-4:30pm Bug Hunt
- 8pm-9:30pm Bat Walk with audio and visual detectors
- Activities & Stalls from 12pm–4pm including:
- Building footprint tunnels
- Making seed bombs
- Den building
- Local stalls, book sales, plant sales
- …and more!
