But what IS “Community Asset Status”, we hear you ask? And why does it matter?
“Community Assets” are buildings or land used for the well-being or social interest of the local community. You see, if an area successfully gains Community Asset Status, it means that if that land is ever put up for sale, we’d have the Right To Bid on it. And then, if our application/s are successful, this could help us to protect green spaces in the village!
